LDV Systems
-
Pre-configured (typical) one-component (1D) LDV system from TSI gets you up and running in a hurry.
-
Provides maximum two-component data with minimum hardware.
-
Typical three-component (3D) LDV system is used to get all three components of velocity, simultaneously.
Laser Doppler Velocimetry Measurement Systems
Laser Doppler velocimetry is a well-proven technique that measures fluid velocity accurately and non-invasively. Measurements are made at a point (a small, non-intrusive optical probe volume) defined by the intersection of two laser beams. As a particle passes through the probe volume, it scatters light from the beams into a detector. The frequency of the resulting Doppler burst signal is directly proportional to the particle velocity.
TSI LDV systems use patented laser control techniques, cutting edge optical fiber components, and proven design features to give years of trouble-free, user-friendly, and cost effective service.
LDV system electronics provide accurate and reliable flow velocity data, including turbulence statistics, from all measurement situations - from simple flows to high speed, flames, combustion, near wall and other low SNR situations. With up to 800MHz sampling rate and photon-counting level sensitivity, only TSI electronics have the speed and efficiency to handle all your LDV measurement needs. Backed by over 20 years of producing laser Doppler systems, TSI technology builds versatility into every system.
