TSI to Host Facility Tour During APS 2009!
With the 62nd Annual APS-DFD conference in our own backyard, TSI is pleased to offer all APS attendees a chance to tour our corporate headquarters, meet our experts, and see where the latest in fluid mechanics research instruments are brought from concept to reality.
TSI Incorporated was founded in 1961 (as Thermo-Systems Inc.) when a group of graduate engineering students from the University of Minnesota developed a thermal anemometer to make accurate flow measurements in turbulent combustion, marking the beginning of our fluid mechanics instrument line. Nearly 50 years later, through continued innovation, this line has expanded to include such advanced systems as: Laser Doppler Velocimetry (LDV), Particle Image Velocimetry (PIV), Phase Doppler Particle Analysis (PDPA), and the new Volumetric 3-component Velocimetry (V3V).
Experience this and more by touring TSI's research and development labs, product testing areas, and manufacturing facilities. You will also have a chance to meet and speak with our engineering and development team.
Reception to follow. Space is limited, so sign up soon!
