AEROSOL RESEARCH

TSI has developed and manufactured state-of-the-art instrumentation for a variety of aerosol research applications since 1966. Today, we offer a catalog of Particle Instruments that is second to none. Our lines of mass flowmeters and phase Doppler systems also find applications in aerosol research.

TSI products for sizing, counting, generating, and dispersing aerosol particles are well-known, and well-respected, around the world. We continue to expand and enhance our Particle Instruments line, applying new technologies to improve existing products and working with scientists at the forefront of aerosol research to develop new products. That's why we have many first or only instruments of their kind.

Our phase Doppler instruments make accurate global velocity and size measurements of liquid sprays, bubbles and solid spheres, important in studying the dynamics of fuel injectors, pharmaceutical inhalers and spray nozzles.

TSI mass flowmeters are often used to check the inlet flow of air sampling instruments. They are chosen for their low pressure drop which minimizes the effect they have on the device under test.
