THERMAL ANEMOMETRY

Thermal anemometers measure fluid velocity by sensing the changes in heat transfer from a small electrically heated sensor in the flow. TSI's thermal anemometry systems are easy-to-use, and have a high frequency response, which makes them ideal for studying turbulence. A wide variety of probes is available for air and water flows. Even three-sensor probes are available for simultaneous measurement of all three velocity components. All calibration, data acquisition, and data processing are controlled by the ThermalPro XP software package.
