Fluid Mechanics Spring 2010 WorkshopParticle Image Velocimetry Systems Workshop (April 12th and 13th, 2010) In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to:
• Setup a complete TSI PIV System
• Capture and analyze images with the POWERVIEW series of cameras
• Set up and operate a Stereoscopic PIV system
• Acquire and analyze data and display results using INSIGHT 3G software
• Use the Global flow measuring system to measure, velocity, and other properties
Phase Doppler Particle Analyzer/Laser Doppler Velocimetry (PDPA/LDV) Systems Workshop (FSA-based systems) (April 14th and 15th, 2010) In this hands-on workshop, you will learn to:
• Set up and operate a two- or three-component system incorporating fiberoptic probes
• Set up and operate the signal processor
• Learn how FlowSizer software settings affect system performance
• Use FlowSizer software to acquire and analyze data and display results
• Use the PDPA/LDV system for different types of applications
