Gas Phase Process Raman Analyzers


    TSI/ChemLogix GasRaman industrial Raman spectrometers are a proven solution for gas phase analysis and monitoring. Our customers use NOCH instruments for natural gas analysis, gasification process monitoring, well head monitoring for exploration and production, for gas phase mixing and analysis in the chemical industry, and more. These versatile instruments perform well in harsh and corrosive environments. Optical ports and flow-through gas cells allow measuring inside combustors and reactors, in mixing and metering, and also in emissions evaluations. Gas phase process Raman analyzers have excellent signal-to-noise characteristics and superior fluorescence rejection. They are easy to use, yet produce data of sensitivity and resolution similar to more expensive Raman instruments.

    Raman spectroscopy has a unique set of advantages when applied to gas phase process monitoring. Raman instruments are stable, fast, and easy to calibrate. They are a great choice for replacing gas chromatography in natural gas processing and handling. Raman spectroscopy is additionally immune to measurement artifacts originating in variable pressures or flow rate, problems that plague other analytical approaches. Quick measurements allow timed sequential assays to observe reaction progress, to ascertain endpoints, and to understand the kinetics of some processes.
