    Ergonomically designed, industrially-hardened, and inherently safe (no eye-hazardous lasers or X-rays), the patented ChemLite™ Laser Analyzers are a revolution in handheld metals analysis. Using LIBS, or laser-induced breakdown spectroscopy, ChemLites identify base metals and alloying elements accurately in as little as 1 second with point-and-shoot convenience.     ChemLite analyzers have the largest spot size of any handheld LIBS device. At 200µm, compared to 50µm instruments, this means a 16-times larger sampling area.
