Cleanroom testing can be referred to using several terms including Certification, Validation, Qualification, Commissioning, and Monitoring. Each term is used to describe various levels of testing and documentation to establish that a controlled environment is meeting its specifications, and is acceptable for the activities occurring in it. This presentation will discuss what specific certification activities might be required for various industry scenarios. We will also look at a detailed overview of formal Installation, Operational and Performance Qualification activities, including a review of various critical utilities and process equipment that might be qualified as part of a project.

Mike has over 25 years of combined of experience as a a cleanroom professional related to the design, construction, certification and qualification of cleanrooms and related infrastructure and process equipment. Currently in a marketing and product development role at TSI Incorporated, Mike previously worked for cleanroom manufacturer Gerbig Engineering and testing agency Pace Analytical.
