TSI Expands ISO 17025 Accreditation for Engine Exhaust Condensation Particle Counters at US and UK Service Centers

Apr 07 2021 Shoreview, US and High Wycombe, UK

TSI Incorporated is excited to announce the addition of ISO 17025:2017 accreditation for Engine Exhaust Condensation Particle Counters (CPCs) used for automotive and heavy-duty engine particle emission measurements.

ISO 17025 accreditation is a globally-recognized benchmark for precision, accuracy and reproducibility of calibration results. It is an international standard used to ensure the technical competence of laboratories to perform specific types of testing, measurement and calibration services.

"The ISO 17025 accreditation increases the level of quality TSI provides," said Francisco J. Romay, Senior Product Manager for TSI’s Particle Instruments. "TSI’s customers are assured the new accredited calibrations are accurate and fully compliant with ISO 17025 requirements."

Previous calibrations for engine exhaust CPCs performed at TSI are traceable to international standards, and comply with specific requirements by the UNECE Particle Measurement Programme Group. However, being ISO 17025 accredited assures that TSI’s methods and procedures adhere to global industry standards for calibration laboratories.

ISO 17025 accreditation is available at TSI’s Service Centers in Shoreview, Minnesota, US, and High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, UK.
