European Aerosol Conference - EAC 2020

Aug 31 2020 - Sep 04 2020 Online https://eac2020.de/

TSI will present posters at EAC 2020TSI is proud to be the Platinum Sponsor of the virtual European Aerosol Conference - EAC 2020.

The five themes for this year's virtual conference include: Aerosol Technology, Atmospheric Aerosol Studies, Aerosol Measurement Techniques, Aerosol & Health, and Basic Aerosol Processes.

See us at our virtual booth; let's talk about your goals and challenges for virus aerosol research, ultrafine particle measurements and indoor air quality monitoring as well as other size, number, mass and sampling measurement applications you are facing.

Recommended events by TSI:

Tuesday, 1 September:

Young Investigator Network Online
Time: 5:30pm-7:30pm
Location: EAC 2020 Lounge

Recommended poster presentations by TSI:

WEDNESDAY, 2 SEPTEMBER:

Poster: "Measuring Particle Size Distributions Comparing Non-invasive to Sampling Solutions"TSI Applications Engineer II Amine Koched
In: Comparison of different measurement methods
Time: 4:00pm-5:00pm
Location: Room_10
About the presenter: Dr. Amine Koched is an application Engineer at TSI working with the fluid mechanics and particle instruments divisions. He earned his PhD in Fluid Mechanics from the University of Nantes in France. He has hands-on experience of more than 10 years with optical diagnosis techniques for reactive and non-reactive flows.

Poster: "Comparison of a Novel Low Cost Monitor with Multiple Aerosol Monitoring Instruments"TSI Senior Application Engineer Torsten Tritscher
In: Comparison of different measurement methods
Time: 4:00pm-5:00pm
Location: Room_10
About the presenter: Dr. Torsten Tritscher was already researching the physical characterization of particles from various sources such as traffic and wood combustion emissions during his studies in Münster, Germany, and his subsequent doctorate at ETH Zurich and the Paul Scherrer Institute. He joined TSI in 2012 as an application engineer in the field of particle measurement instruments and has since been able to expand his experience in the field of measurement technology and its optimal application.

Dr. Tritscher is a member of the American Association for Aerosol Research and currently serves on the board of the Society for Aerosol Research GAeF.
