MOUDI™ II Rotating Impactors

With internally-mounted motors to rotate the impaction plates, MOUDI™ II impactors can now be used reliably for longer sampling intervals (i.e. days). Characterizing airborne particulate matter in terms of its mass and/or chemical content provides insight into ambient air quality, atmospheric science, vehicle emissions, industrial emissions, and other areas. Stage cutpoints down to 10 nm allow researchers to study particle composition at the nanoparticle level, confident that their results are not tainted by larger particles from a different source.

MOUDI™ II impactors are based on the legacy and research quality of the preceding MOUDI™ impactors by MSP, a Division of TSI. They are now sold by TSI, making them part of a large family of trusted, accurate, and reliable aerosol instrumentation.

MOUDI™ II Impactor Model 120R

The MOUDI™ II Impactor Model 120R is a high-resolution rotating cascade impactor designed for precise aerosol size fractionation from 10 µm to 56 nm. Operating at 30 L/min, it combines sharp cut-size performance, low particle losses, and uniform particle deposition to support accurate gravimetric and chemical analyses across a wide range of aerosol research applications.

Nano MOUDI™ II Impactor Model 125R

The Nano MOUDI™ II Impactor Model 125R is designed for detailed nanoparticle and ultrafine aerosol characterization, providing size fractionation from 10 µm down to 10 nm. Operating at 10 L/min, it combines high-resolution particle classification, uniform particle deposition, and advanced automation for demanding aerosol research applications.
